Specialist refuges
There are a number of specialist refuges who provide services for specific groups of women and children which include refuges for black women and children, Asian women and children, Jewish women and children, Irish women and children and women with learning disabilities. You can get information about all of these refuges from the National Domestic Violence Helpline.
You can find about more about how to get a space in a refuge or how to get support from a refuge outreach service by phoning either of the numbers below. The first is a national helpline and the second is specifically for women in London:
