Your rights to the property you currently live in
I'm living in my partner's home and we are not married
If you live in your partner's home and you are not married to them you have no automatic right to remain in the property. Your partner is only required to give you "reasonable notice to quit" before excluding you from the property.
You would have to go to court to gain the right to live there and/or to exclude your abuser. Please see the section on civil law options for further information on how to obtain these rights.
If you wish to remain in your current property you may also wish to consider the following options The Sanctuary Project.
